Service Description:

TiveConnect for Pediatric Practices offers access to on-demand Sign Language interpreters through a mobile application. This service is designed to facilitate effective communication between Healthcare providers and d/Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (HOH) parents and children. Certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available 5 days a week from 8am to 8pm EST to ensure comprehensive care and accessibility for this community.
Plan Inclusions:

a. On-Demand Sign Language Interpreter:

Immediate access to certified ASL interpreters.

Free usage for up to 150 minutes per month.

Usage exceeding the free 150 minutes will be charged at a rate of $3.49 per minute, billed monthly.

HIPAA Compliance:

TiveConnect for Pediatric Practices adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines. All communication and interactions through the app are conducted in a manner compliant with HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and security of patient information.
Grant Sponsorship:

The provision of free access to Tive's Sign Language interpreters is made possible through a generous grant from the Children's Medical Care Foundation (CMCF). This sponsorship enables pediatric healthcare providers to benefit from the free services offered without incurring charges up to the specified limit.
Service Limitations:
a. TiveConnect for Pediatric Practices reserves the right to limit or terminate access to the service in the case of suspected abuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of terms.

b. The service availability is subject to the availability of certified ASL interpreters. While efforts are made to ensure 24/7 access, occasional limitations may occur due to factors beyond Tive's control, such as unforeseen technical issues or high demand periods.
Usage Responsibilities:
a. Subscribers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all communications facilitated by the ASL interpreters through the TiveConnect app.

b. The service is intended solely for communication between healthcare providers and d/Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals within the context of medical consultations or related healthcare interactions.
Modification of Terms:

TiveConnect for Pediatric Practices reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these terms and conditions at any time. Subscribers will be notified of any significant changes via the provided contact information.
Termination:

Subscribers can terminate their subscription to TiveConnect for Pediatric Practices at any time. Upon termination, access to the service and associated benefits will cease.
Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
